Stop yelling at me!

Car dealers must be under the misguided impression that, in order to gain my business, they must yell at me. Obviously I, as the uneducated and now-deaf potential customer, am not able to understand any other form of communication. I am so tired of turning on the radio to hear "This is an alert! If you are in your car, you MUST drive directly to Simon Says Car Dealer!" All of this is frantically expressed yelled in an annoying monotone. What ever happened to saying 'please'? And what will happen if I DON'T drive "directly" there? My car will quit on me? My hair will fall out? I have yet to see the urgency of going "directly" there...or going there at all! To a place that is, in fact, over 30 minutes from my broadcast area. So if I'm on my lunch break and happen to hear this commercial, I have to ditch work and drive "directly" to the dealer? Come on! I would like to do a survey and see just how many people actually follow the announcer's desperate instructions and "directly" visit the dealership. Shame on them if they make a coffee stop on the way. Simon didn't say stop for coffee! I wonder how they get any business, since the majority of listeners probably change the station anyway. That is, if they have any sense of hearing left to enjoy the next song.
